Lynette Clayton, Fiscal/Human resource Director Lynette Clayton has spent a total of fifteen years at ORCA House. She first arrived at ORCA House in 1996 to serve as the Administrative Coordinator for two years and then again in 1999 to take up the Fiscal Manager position that she had held ever since. During her short absence from ORCA House, Ms. Clayton served as a Senior Payroll Administrator at N.A.R.C.O. Ms. Clayton received a Associate of Arts Business Administration with a minor in Accounting in 1994. Between 1998 and 1999, Ms. Clayton continued her business studies by enrolling in classes and seminars at both John Carroll University and Case Western Reserve University’s Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations. Her educational pursuits culminated in her earning a Bachelors Degree in Business and Human Resource Management in 2007 from Notre Dame College of Ohio. Jacquelin A. Fields, Clinical Director After receiving a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Ohio University in 1974, Ms. Fields continued her academic work in Counseling and Learning Disabilities, Business Administration, and Counseling and Early Childhood Education at institutions like Cleveland State University, Baldwin Wallace College and John Carroll University. Ms. Fields began her work in the field of alcohol and drug counseling at Glenbeigh Hospital in Cleveland. With her advancement in the field, Ms. Fields then worked as the Director of Clinical Services at Hitchcock Center for Women, Inc. located in Cleveland. After obtaining her Master’s Degree in Management of Nonprofit Organizations from Case Western Reserve University, Ms. Fields moved to a Treatment Planning Specialist position at the ADASBCC Board. After her tenure at the Board, Ms. Fields spent six years at Metro Health Medical Center, and three years at Laurelwood Hospital as an IOP and SAMI counselor. Ms. Fields joined the ORCA House staff in 2008 as the Clinical Director. She also serves as the agency’s Quality Improvement agent and Grievance Officer. Myrtle Abdul Latif, Residential Program Manager With only one brief hiatus, Myrtle Abdul Latif has worked at ORCA House for over twenty year. Over this time period, Ms. Abdul Latif has served the agency as the Women’s Program Coordinator (1988 – 2008) and the Director of Residential Services (2009 – 2012). After receiving her Associate of Applied Science degree from Cuyahoga Community College with a concentration in Community Mental Health Technology and becoming a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, Ms. Abdul Latif held alcohol-counseling positions at agencies such as Exodus, Inc., Iwo San; Community Guidance Inc., and Urban Ounce of Prevention. In 2008, Ms. Abdul Latif served as the Women’s Service Director at the Northern Ohio Recovery Association. To date, Ms. Abdul Latif serves as the Director of Residential Services.
